A note on the name. The Victorian register records the principal of Mitchell Family Law Pty Ltd as Kathryn Mitchell. Doyle’s Guide, her firm and her own biography all use Kate Mitchell. Searching the register for “Kate Mitchell” returns a different lawyer — an employee solicitor at another firm entirely — so the two should not be confused. We matched the entry on the law practice name, not the given name.
Mitchell Family Law is a boutique family-law-only firm of six. Besides the principal, the firm’s website lists partner Courtney Sims, who is also a Law Institute of Victoria Accredited Specialist in Family Law, associate Sabina Salem, solicitor Amanda Stevenson, practice manager Kristy Wilson and executive assistant Jessica Green.
