Natalie Barry is special counsel at Taussig Cherrie Fildes and an Accredited Family Law Specialist since November 2023. She has worked exclusively in family law since her admission in 2015, and joined the firm in August 2019 from a top tier family law firm in Perth.
She is especially experienced in parenting arrangements, including interstate and international relocation applications, and in interim and final property arrangements, spousal maintenance, litigation funding applications and financial agreements. She has instructed counsel and senior counsel at final hearings, including an appeal before the Full Court of the Family Court.

Taussig Cherrie Fildes is a specialist family law firm on Lonsdale Street in the Melbourne CBD, founded in 2000 by Debra Cherrie and the late Michael Taussig QC. In its 2026 edition Doyle’s Guide ranks the firm First Tier, its highest firm tier, in both its national list of family and divorce law firms (one of six firms) and its Melbourne list (one of five). It is the only firm in both first tiers that practises family law alone. Both named principals, Debra Cherrie and Paul Fildes, are ranked Preeminent in Melbourne.
